What you allow yourself

Emotional Range

What would it cost you to let that go?

This stretch can bring up shame or grief. There is no requirement to go further than you want to. Stopping partway through and coming back is a legitimate way to do this — arguably the only honest one.

Smaller cues, if the question is too big to start on

  • Which feelings are allowed out, and which are not?
  • Who taught you the difference?
  • When did you last feel something fully and let it pass?
  • What do you do instead, when you would rather not feel it?

You can write nothing. That is allowed. This page has no box to fill — the real walk will not nag you if a stretch stays empty.

A letter you do not email

Sealed until a date you pick. Still yours to read.

A letter to a future self lives inside the walk. The seal is a promise, not a lock — you can always open your own row. Nothing is sent. It is not a vault, and it is not FutureMe.

The document that is only yours

Print the whole thing. Sealed letters stay listed, not transcribed.

The printable document is assembled in your browser, on your machine. A letter you asked not to read yet appears as a line in the contents, not as the letter. Why this is not a group.
